Anyway, great location, clean, friendly, everything works, gym is decent and very clean. No issues at all. Would recommend to friends.

|Recommended: YesGreat place to live — I've lived here for close to 8 years and absolutely loved to call this place home. The building is nice, well-built no noise issues and well-managed, my apartment is roomy and has tons of storage space. In the 8 years I've been here I've only had to put in 2 or 3 work orders to fix minor things. The staff are all really courteous and friendly. Not to mention, the location is super convenient. If I didn't have to move because of a new job, I could easily have stayed here much longer.

|Recommended: YesWe Stayed 12 Years. That Says a Lot. — On the whole, we were quite happy here. This is also probably one of the more reasonably priced non-slum-grade luxury apartment complexes in what is admittedly a very pricey area, so it's a relative bargain.
You can't do better with the location a five-minute walk to the Metro and subsequent 10-minute ride to downtown D.C. a huge park around the corner lots of tree and greenery for an urban setting and walking distance to plenty of restaurants and trendy retailers, including Whole Foods.
The sound proofing in general is good, although in any commercial apartment building you occasionally will get some sound bleeding in from neighboring units. As long as you don't have a professional bagpipe player next door, it's not a big deal. We had a few problems with excessive neighbor noise several years ago, but the front desk and resident manager took care of that promptly. I don't know what they said, but it was pretty quiet afterward.
I wouldn't call the staff here cuddly, but they are helpful, friendly enough once you get to know them, and efficient. If we put in a request for a repair or even a major appliance replacement on our way out the door in the morning, it's done when we get home in the evening. The resident manager seems to run a tight ship, which some more free-spirited tenants may find restrictive, but which we appreciated.
Our biggest complaint is that there are a lot of very transient tenants, many of them students or just out of school. Some of the latter tend to be a little loud or messy e.g. leaving shipping boxes in the elevator areas for the long-suffering maintenance staff to remove, rather than taking them down to the recycling room themselves as fully grown adults would do . And the rapid turnover means there's not much neighborly spirit, although I suppose that's not what people who move into complexes like this are looking for.

|Recommended: YesArlington's Best Kept Secret — This building may be overlooked because it is a bit dated, but it truly one of the best buildings in No. Arlington. The location is unbeatable. The staff is very professional and any maintenance issue is dealt with promptly. The best part of the building is it is quiet. They don't make buildings like this anymore. I have lived in 2 newer construction buildings in the area and I could here everything my neighbors were doing. That has never been an issue at Courtland Park. All in all, I have no complaints.
